You have to join to play at SPORTime NY, but once you do you can take advantage of world-class training facilities and instructors; there are clinics and lessons for kids and adults of all ages — as well as the John McEnroe Tennis Academy — an elite, non-residential training academy for elite young players. SPORTime NY features much more than just tennis, too; it has meeting and party facilities, restaurant, gym, and summer camps.

2. Yonkers Tennis Center
Yonkers Tennis Center opened in 1970. Since then it has become a premier tennis destination in Westchester. You have to join to play at the County Tennis Club of Westchester in Scarsdale — but once you do, it’s worth it. The County Tennis club is one of the oldest private tennis clubs in the country, now celebrating its 102nd birthday. The County Tennis club is just 30 minutes north of the city. It is home to 9 soft courts — 3 red clay and 6 har-tru. The club features an immense amount of excellent programming; intra- and inter-club tournaments, round robins, pro-am tournament, twilight tennis dinner on select Fridays throughout the year, kids programs, monthly barbecues, and member guest days. The club has an outstanding clubhouse, as well, with a large, comfortable living room, cable TV, beautiful deck overlooking the courts, wi-fi access and a full-service snack bar. County Tennis Club of Westchester is a great choice if you are looking for social opportunities as well as tennis; you can improve your skills and bond over your love of the game with fellow members.

4. Saw Mill Club
The Saw Mill Club in Mt. Kisco New York is a full-service sports and fitness club. However, its tennis program is one of its stellar points, receiving high accolades for over 40 years. The facility boasts thirteen tennis courts, indoor and out.
